Wild life conservationists created a Memory Box for their friends first child. True to their conviction this box was to keep the impact on the world to an absolute minimum. Created in dovetail construction, all the materials other than the hinges have been recycled from redundent objects. The timber was once a Victorian cuboard abandoned, broken and left to rot in a shed.The fabric was once a silk waistcoat forgotten at the back of a wardrobe. The shellac used in finishing is as natural as the  insects that produced it and the beeswax was provided by the bees here at Wheathills
