Grandparents presented the Mother and Father, during the celebration of their Son’s christening, with a Memory Box to keep safe a letter to a Grandson from his Grandparents, mementos of the day and to collect poignant objects of his first years.

The box was created from Walnut of dovetailed construction with waisted moulding to the top and bottom. The lid is decorated with Flame Mahogany laid on a raised and fielded panel.  The interior is fitted with a simple tray to house his Grandparents letter.
