Precious moments shared between loved ones are often engrained into simple objects, a button, piece of ribbon, a pebble or a faded photograph can mean so much. These memories are kept safe in a beautiful place, where you can take a moment or so to reminisce and then once again close the lid, turn the key and lock away those private thoughts until you feel the need once more.

This pair of Memory Boxes are created from Burr Oak with banding of Silky Oak.  The centre cartouche is an open fan of Satinwood and dyed Lime. A solid silver domed detail is engraved by hand with a personal message and hallmarked with the date and makers mark. The interiors are upholstered with dyed suede, one cerise the other cobalt and  fitted with a walnut photograph slip.  A brass cartouche is inscribed with a message from loving Grandparents.
