A miniature Memory Box has been created by a loving wife, in harmony with her Husband's Memory Box to eventually be placed together, one inside the other, in order to perpetuate their family life stories. An heirloom for future generations to be able to contribute to again and again by collecting sentimental objects with stories of their very own, all to be kept safe in a beautiful place.
This Memory Box is created in harmony with her Husband’s Memory Box, being in Burr Tiger Brown Oak and cross banded in Macassa. The lid is finely inlayed with the crest of Kings School, Macclesfield in Newcastle Under Lyme, created with Walnut, Ebony, dyed Sycamore and Birds Eye Maple, representing their fond memories and days at Kings School. The Yorkshire rose flanks each corner wrapping around all sides, created using Satinwood, Walnut, Dyed Lime and Sycamore to celebrate her birthplace and love for Yorkshire.
To the front of the Box is the shield of Clare College with the ribbon and motto beneath created using Dyed Lime, Ebony, Quilted Maple and Sycamore, to mark their most precious days working together at Clare College. The escutcheon is fitted with a tiny hand made key. The interior is beautifully lined with biscuit suede.
