The wedding of a beautiful daughter and her fond farewell to far off lands, inspired her father to create a Memory Box named "Memories of England", to travel the world with the romantic couple, taking with them her father's love and inspiration.
The Box is created to be robust yet feminine, echo Art Deco styling yet be contemporary, the decoration classical yet abstract, and as individual as the Bride herself.
Created in Ziricote and cross banded in Tamo in the form of an old fashioned photograph frame. The box is decorated with wild daisies from the meadow using English Burr Oak, Boxwood and Ebony. The lift up lid encloses a fitted removable stationery tray including a tilting Pen compartment, all upholstered in fine leather and fitted with a silk cats cradle, finished in silver studs and an inscribed silver hallmarked cartouche.
